THE rich get richer in UAAP men's basketball, as La Salle welcomes with open arms the entry of Lebron Jhames Daep.

The 6-foot-6 high-flyer is fresh off a historic championship and MVP award for Perpetual in NCAA Season 100 juniors. Now, he joins a stacked lineup that still features Mike Phillips alongside talented transferees Mason Amos, Jacob Cortez, Kean Baclaan, and Luis Pablo.

In his last year with the Jr. Altas, Daep averaged 15.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 blocks, all while leading the Las Pinas-based squad to its first-ever basketball title - whether seniors or juniors.

Those championship aspirations will remain true in Taft Ave., as the Green Archers look to reclaim the crown they lost to the University of the Philippines in UAAP Season 87.

At just age 18, the son of ex-pro Rommel Daep will have five full years of eligibility for the green-and-white, which could already begin in Season 88 later in the year.
