The Nasrul-Lahi-il-Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has extended heartfelt Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslims around the world and congratulated pilgrims currently performing the Hajj pilgrimage in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.

In a statement issued by NASFAT’s Global President, Dr. Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, the organisation emphasized the spiritual and humanitarian significance of both Eid al-Adha and Hajj, calling for sustained acts of compassion, charity, and global unity.

“Thousands of Nigerian Muslims are among the millions gathered in Mecca and Medina for one of the world’s most sacred and diverse religious pilgrimages, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah,” Dr. AbdulRauf said.

He noted that the rituals of Eid and Hajj serve as powerful reminders of the shared spiritual heritage among Abrahamic faiths and the vital role faith plays in inspiring service to humanity and support for the vulnerable.

The NASFAT leader also expressed concern over ongoing crises and recovery efforts across the globe, citing war-torn regions and victims of conflict and natural disasters in Northern Nigeria, Ukraine, Palestine, India, and Pakistan.

On behalf of NASFAT, he conveyed best wishes to Muslims across the globe, proclaiming: “Eid Mubarak and Hajj Mabrour to every Muslim worldwide.”

AbdulRauf also prayed for peace, unity, good health, and Allah’s abundant blessings for all, urging believers to let the lessons of sacrifice, patience, and empathy guide their daily lives.
