Danladi Jatau, the speaker, announced the passage of the bill during plenary on Tuesday in Lafia.

He said the bill seeks to promote the training and retraining of teachers to enhance the development of the state’s education sector.

Jatau commended members for their commitment and dedication in ensuring the passage of the bill.

He thereafter directed the Clerk of the House to transmit the bill to Governor Abdullahi Sule for assent.

Earlier, Suleiman Azara, the majority Leader, had moved a motion for the bill to scale third reading.

Luka Zhekaba, the minority leader, seconded the motion before it was unanimously passed by the house.
