Mohamed Salah has been named the 2024–25 Premier League Player of the Season, marking the second time in his career he has received the prestigious honour, following his initial win in the 2017–18 season during a remarkable debut campaign for Liverpool.

The Egyptian forward delivered one of the most outstanding individual seasons in Premier League history, playing a pivotal role in Liverpool’s title-winning campaign, which they sealed with four games remaining in April.

Heading into the final match of the season against Crystal Palace at Anfield, Salah has registered an impressive 28 goals and 18 assists in the league under manager Arne Slot.

With those figures, he is poised to finish as the division’s top scorer and leading assist provider.

Salah beat out competition for the award from teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, as well as Morgan Gibbs-White, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Declan Rice, and Chris Wood.
