Mohamed Salah has now equalled the Premier League record for goal involvements in a single campaign.
The Liverpool No.11 increased his tally for 2024-25 to 47 (29 goals, 18 assists) during the season finale with Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.
Salah thereby moved level with Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer, who previously jointly held the best figure in the Premier League era.
Cole produced 34 goals and 13 assists in 1993-94 and Shearer replicated those numbers in the next season – however, each of those were achieved across 42-game campaigns.
The Egyptian led the way for goals and assists in the division this season to secure a fourth Golden Boot and second Playmaker award alongside the Reds’ clinching of the Premier League title.
