During the resource verification visit, the NUC team, led by Malam Abubakar M. Girei, assessed the university’s infrastructure, faculty, and academic resources. The team acknowledged the university’s commitment to delivering a globally competitive learning experience through a blended learning model that aligns with the NUC-CCMAS framework.

Miva Open University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Tayo Arulogun, expressed gratitude to the NUC for their rigorous evaluation and constructive feedback. “This approval is a testament to our dedication to providing high-quality, accessible education. At Miva, we are committed to equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the evolving fields of public health and information technology.”

Miva Open University remains steadfast in its mission to bridge educational gaps through innovation, affordability, and excellence in online learning. With the addition of these new programs, the university continues to strengthen its position as a leader in professional and postgraduate education in Nigeria.

The university looks forward to welcoming the first cohort of students into the Master of Public Health and Master of Information Technology programs in the 2024/2025 academic session.
