Published 3 weeks ago3 minute read

Aston Villa winger Marcus Rashofrd has received another ban for driving offences while being banned from getting behind the wheel.

The Manchester United star, who left his boyhood club in January on loan, failed to give police information about who was driving his BMW on October 30 last year.

The 27-year-old has struggled for form and recently received his first England call-up in a year.

According to the Sun, Rashfrod has been fined almost £800 for failing to give police information about who was driving his £100,000 electric BMW I7 motor on October 30 last year.

Rashford was banned from driving for six months in July after going over the speed limit in December 2023. He was fined £1,666 as a result, per Sky Sports.

The BMW was caught in Winsford Cheshire, England on October 30 last year. The winger played in Man United's 5-2 win over Leicester City in the League Cup.

The police sent Rashford a letter asking him who was driving the car. The report adds that he pleaded guilty to failing to respond to a magistrate's court on March 13. The identity of the driver is still unknown.

In September 2023, Rashford crashed his £700,000 Rolls Royce after leaving Man United's Carrington training ground.

The England international reportedly owns a McLaren 765LT and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante.

In December last year, Rashford told veteran English journalist Henry Winter he wanted a new challenge after new coach Ruben Amorim dropped him on December 15.

"I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps," he said.

Amorim never played the academy graduate again and it seems he is on his way out of his boyhood club.

"What I say is I couldn't put Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it," Amorim said via ESPN.

It is unclear if he will move to Aston Villa permanently in the summer. Champions League qualification would likely play a part in his decision.

The England star has experienced a drastic drop of form since scoring 30 times in the 2022/23 campaign, the best season of his career.

In the 2022/23 season under Erik ten Hag, Rashfrod registered 30 goals and 10 assists in 56 appearances.

However, his form dropped significantly. Since the 2022/23 season, he has scored 15 goals in 76 appearances in all competitions.

earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel appeared to criticise Rashford after England'sa win over Albania.

The German was not happy with his performance after his 16-minute cameo at Wembley.
