Man dies after bike hit by truck in Berasia | Bhopal News - Times of India
Bhopal: A tragic accident occurred in the Berasia area on Thursday morning when a speeding truck allegedly collided head-on with a motorcycle carrying two men and a goat. The collision resulted in the immediate death of the goat, while the bike rider succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The pillion rider sustained serious injuries. Berasia police registered a case and started investigations.According to police, the deceased, Rajesh Nath, 25, a resident of Arrawati village in Berasia, was on his way to Berasia to sell a goat. Accompanying him was Radheshyam Bhilala, 28, a fellow villager. Rajesh was riding the motorcycle while Radheshyam was seated behind, holding the goat.Around 9:30 AM, near Sapaua village, a speeding truck approaching from the opposite direction struck their motorcycle.
The force of the impact caused both riders to fall onto the road and suffer severe injuries. The goat died on the spot due to the impact.Rajesh sustained critical injuries to his waist and limbs and was immediately rushed to Hamidia Hospital, where he later died during treatment. Radheshyam, who survived the crash, filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case against the truck driver for negligent driving.Police have initiated an investigation and are working to identify and apprehend the truck driver responsible for the fatal collision.
