Road moving towards Gaimukh and the Ahmedabad Highway was affected Monday morning following a mishap involving a freight carrier, officials informed. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
The incident occurred around 7 am when a trailer truck carrying 40 tonnes of chemical stock from Karnataka to

crashed into the median near the entry point of the

Waghbil

flyover after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The affected truck blocked access of other vehicles to the flyover while the collision led to the oil tank rupturing and spillage of the oil on the carriageway, making it dangerous for safe and smooth traffic movement.
