Chubb's interest in the Texans was previously reported by ESPN's on Sunday during a live broadcast of SportsCenter.

Chubb, 29, appeared in eight games during the 2024 season, returning in Week 7 after suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 2 of the 2023 season, before breaking his foot. The former University of Georgia standout recorded 996 yards as a rookie in 2018 before four consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, averaging 84.5 yards per game and 5.2 yards per carry during his first five NFL seasons.
