Titled 'Reasonable Suspicion and Racial Profiling in the Enforcement of Immigration Laws in Arizona,' the thesis was completed in 2025 and has now been included in the records of the Library of Congress.

The work, which explores legal and policy issues surrounding immigration enforcement in the US, particularly in Arizona, was formally registered under Registration Number TX 9-507-165, with an effective registration date of May 22, 2025.

The publication date was listed as May 19, 2025.

Wajackoyah, while reacting to the achievement, expressed pride in the recognition, noting that the validation allows US Congressional lawmakers to refer to his thesis as a source of law in shaping immigration legislation.

"I am very happy to announce that my PhD thesis in Law and Public Policy has been validated and published by the Library of Congress in the United States," he said.

He emphasised the significance of this achievement, particularly for Kenya, which now claims a place in the US Congressional research space.

The thesis, which took six years to complete—including delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic—earned him a doctorate in Law and Public Policy.

The politician revealed that he will graduate this Saturday, July 12, in Orlando, Florida.

He credited his success to the support of his researcher, Kelvin Ouma, his family, and his academic supervisor.

This achievement marks a new chapter in Wajackoyah’s career, blending his academic pursuits with his legal and political advocacy and bringing international recognition to Kenyan scholarship on matters of global legal importance.
