Kenya's Registrar of Political Parties Advertises Jobs for Clerical Officers, Other Positions

Kenya's Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has invited applications from suitable and interested Kenyans to fill multiple vacant positions.

In an advert published in the government newspaper My Gov on Tuesday, March 4, the state office encouraged candidates to submit their applications by Tuesday, March 25.

ORPP clarified that successful applicants must submit clearances from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Higher Educational Loans Board (HELB), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

"The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties is seeking competent, capable, ambitious, self-motivated and dynamic individuals who demonstrate the appropriate expertise and experience to contribute to the implementation of our mandate and the achievement of our vision to be a model regulator of political parties for a credible democratic multiparty system. The ORPP therefore invites qualified Interested individuals to apply for the underlisted positions," the advert read.

ORPP said candidates should make their applications by completing two copies of the ORPP job application form on its website.

It noted candidates should submit their applications (physical) together with a cover letter, detailed curriculum vitae, a copy of the national ID, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and any other relevant supporting documents.

"Applications should be addressed to: Registrar of Political Parties, Office of the Registrar of Political Parties, Lion Place, 4th Floor, Karuna Close, Waiyaki Way, Westlands. The applicant’s envelope should quote the vacancy reference number of the position they are applying for," ORPP stated.

Career counsellor Simon Ingari said candidates should learn about the company's mission and objectives.

"Before you enter the interview room, ensure that you go through the company website to read the latest news, company profile, goals, management team, objectives, vision and mission," he told TUKO.co.ke.

He also explained that the interview panel expects candidates to list their professional achievements and the unique skills they possess that will add value to the organisation.

In other news, the United Nations Office in Nairobi advertised over 50 positions on its website.

Job seekers were also invited to apply for managerial vacancies at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.

Elsewhere, more than 30 job vacancies in various state agencies were announced by the national government.
