The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with host Amitabh Bachchan conducting the fastest finger first round, where Chandni Choudhary secured a spot on the hot seat. A brief introduction video highlighted her journey, revealing that she is a student at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, and a Bronze Medalist in the 2023 Cyclethon. She participated in the show to fund her startup. However, it was Amitabh Bachchan’s confession about the staple “dal-chawal” food that had everyone’s attention.

As the game progressed, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his love for eating dal-chawal with his bare hands. Participant Chandni faced a question worth Rs 3,000, which asked about the state associated with the Awadhi dish, “Tehri”. She correctly identified Uttar Pradesh as the answer. Amitabh Bachchan elaborated on the dish, explaining its similarity to biryani but with a different cooking method. He also shared that while he once enjoyed tehri, he eventually stopped eating it without any specific reason. This led to the duo talking about rice.

Chandni mentioned her fondness for rice and recalled an interview experience where the interviewer was left offended by Chandni’s food preference. Amitabh Bachchan and Chandni’s conversation shifted to their shared enjoyment of eating rice with their hands, appreciating the unique satisfaction it brings. The host of KBC said, “Par haanth se joh khake mazaa aata hai woh, kahin aur nahi aata, chawal-dal, usko mila karke kha liya."

With a strong entrepreneurial vision, Chandni aimed to win Rs 25 lakh to invest in her startup. Her determination resonated with Amitabh Bachchan, who expressed his support and promised to encourage others to back her venture. By the end of the episode, Chandni surpassed her goal and walked away with Rs 50 lakh.
