The musician took to Facebook where he released a statement calling for privacy as he and his wife, Triza, navigate their marital challenges.

This comes hours after Karangu's friends visited Triza's parents in a bid to mediate between the pair.

In his statement, Karangu acknowledged the challenges they have faced over the past few days and highlighted the impact it has had on him and his family.

Additionally, he apologised for any distress the messy situation might have caused to his loved ones.

"I have always believed in love, respect, and harmony, even in the face of difficulties. My wife, Triza, remains someone I deeply respect, and I honour her choices," Karangu's wrote.

Karangu shared that he will take some time to do some personal reflection and also called for understanding as he and Triza work through their issues behind closed doors.

"I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this chapter of our lives. Life is a journey, and though this moment is difficult, I trust that we will rise stronger and wiser. I appreciate the love and support I have received and remain hopeful for better days ahead," he added.

Drama between Karangu and Triza came up after Valentine's Day when Triza went live on TikTok with her friend Tata Essy, tearfully accusing Karangu of neglecting her after marrying his second wife, Carol Kim.

She claimed that Karangu favoured Carol, buying her a better car, a more expensive phone, and even building her a house in an affluent Nairobi area.

Here is what fans had to say about Karangu's announcement:

"You could have done this long time kitambo. You need professional image consultants when such issues emerge not friends. Friends like you. They will be sympathetic with you and they will be afraid to offend you. Mambo haingechemka hivi."

"I hope you are able to listen to me bro, switch off your camera and take time off to reflect!"

"This is wise and bold... Anything and everything is solve able. I wish you all the best in everything."

"And you can rest assured that nothing beats God ...at our weakest He manifests His strength in us,may God take you through it."

"Well done sir, the best post ever."

In a related story, popular radio presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba urged both Karangu and Triza to consider the emotional strain their disagreements were placing on their children.

She advised them to refrain from airing their marital issues publicly, explaining the potential harm such exposure could cause.

Additionally, Muthoni expressed concern about the lasting impact on their children.
