Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) signed experienced 34-year-old ex-international power forward Antonio Iannuzzi (208cm-108kg-1991) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has played for the last two years at HDL Nardo in the Serie A2. In 40 games, he had 9.4ppg, 7.4rpg, and 1.2apg last season.
He was also a member of the Italian international program for some years. Iannuzzi played for Italian Senior National Team in 2017 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2010.
Sixteen years ago, he represented Italy at the FIBA EuroBasket U18 in Metz, France. During this event, he averaged 4.3 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Iannuzzi has spent his entire career in Italy playing for eight other teams: Openjobmetis Varese, Brindisi, Orlandina, Matera, Omegna, Ferentino, Mantova, and Torino.
He won the Italian Serie A2 Gold championship title in 2021. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com Italian Serie A2 All-Domestic Players Team in 2022.
