Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes who is currently trying to prove his position in WWE, his entrance theme song 'Kingdom' was also supposed to go through a change. As WWE is bringing on a lot of new changes with its creative elements, especially with the wrestler entrance themes, speculations suggested that Cody Rhodes theme song was also to be replaced with a new theme song.
So, is it going to be replaced by the creative team of WWE? Let's find about it more in this article below.
Speculation had swirled among fans that Cody Rhodes might have to abandon the theme that has become inseparable from his WWE. The good news is that fans can breathe a sigh of relief as The American Nightmare's iconic entrance music is reportedly not going to be replaced and will be continued with the current theme, 'Kingdom’ by Downstait. This was further confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp recently. During a Q&A session backstage, Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful was asked whether Cody could be compelled to change the theme song that has become a signature element of his presentation.
Sapp clarified that, due to Cody's current position in the company, that won't be happening in the near future.
Sean Ross Sapp said, “I think that guy has enough pull to avoid that. It’s such an integral part of his presentation and the WWE presentation in general. Like, you wanna go there and do the ‘Whoa,’ you wanna listen to the song, all that good stuff. I think that would be really bad.”He further added, if Cody himself ever decided to change it, that’d be a different story—but WWE forcing the switch? it is highly unlikely.
“Now, if he wanted to change it, I’m sure that it would be changed, but I would be shocked if they changed that one. Be very shocked.”

Earlier, Rhodes floated the idea of replacing his theme song ‘Kingdom’ by letting his young daughter Liberty re-record the famous “Wrestling has more than one royal family” intro to add a personal touch that’s seen as a tribute to his wrestling lineage.“I recorded that weeks after I left WWE the first time (in 2016).
To this day, we still use that audio sample. My goal, actually, I don’t know if she would want to do this, but the beginning of my song and the voiceover that exists, I’d love my daughter [Liberty] to do it at one point. I want her to have a good experience in this. I had the best experience. Certainly, you can’t predict the highs and lows and all it’s going to be. Opportunity showed, opportunity knocked, I was able to answer.
Very lucky.” Cody Rhodes once said in an interview with Stephanie’s Places (source: Fightful)Also Read: WWE RAW preview and streaming details (06/23/25): Full match card, show highlights, how to watch, and moreMeanwhile, Cody Rhodes is set to lock horns with Jey Uso for a chance to compete in the King of the Ring semi-finals.
