Iowa troopers recently stopped a commercial vehicle driver with serious tire troubles.

An Iowa trooper stopped a truck over the weekend in Pottawattamie County for a tire issue, according to a June 23 social media post from the Iowa State Patrol (ISP) Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit.

An image shared by ISP shows two tires with catastrophic damage from a blowout.

“When asked, the driver said he was aware of the tire issue but was ‘trying to get to a truck stop that he liked,'” said ISP.
