Earlier today, IO Interactive (known for the HITMAN series) took to social media to reveal the first details of their upcoming James Bond video game FKA Project 007. Now called 007 First Light, with the tagline “Earn The Number.” IO Interactive first announced all the way back in 2021, and have been radio silent on the project until today.

Fans can sign up on the games’ website to be notified of any further updates, but those may come sooner than you think.

Alongside this update on 007, IO Interactive also revealed their first-ever showcase. They have even confirmed that HITMAN, 007 First Light, and Build A Rocket Boy’s MindsEye will be shown.

I’ve been a huge fan of IOI for well over two decades at this point, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for them. Not only with their in-house developed games like 007 First Light, but also as a publisher of titles like MindsEye. This step into publishing will be a new challenge for IO Interactive, and if it’s successful, then I’d expect to see many more IOI Showcase events in the future.
