Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Invincible season 3, episodes 1-4.

Christian Convery addresses Oliver Grayson's first kills in . Oliver was introduced in season 2 as the half-Viltrumite and half-Thraxan son of Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson (J.K. Simmons). He was taken back to Earth by his brother, Mark Grayson/Invincible (Steven Yeun), and has been raised by Mark's mother, Debbie Grayson (Sandra Oh). Due to Oliver's unique heritage, he has grown exponentially and is now voiced by Convery in Invincible season 3's cast. Oliver has been training with Mark, but things take a dark turn when .

While speaking with ScreenRant on the red carpet of his upcoming movie The Monkey, . He suggests that "Oliver is kind of gaslighting himself" by insisting that the Maulers' deaths were an accident. Convery teases that Olver will develop in significant ways as the season continues and that he may learn to become "more human." Check out Convery's comments below:

I think Oliver's got a lot to learn. I mean, he did say it was an accident. So, there's a little controversy there. I think Oliver is kind of gaslighting himself, but over the course of the season, he's going to develop his journey. He's going to expand and hopefully he becomes a more sensitive human or Viltrumite or Thraxan, who knows. Maybe he becomes more human...

Now that Oliver has his powers, he has to understand the immense responsibility and consequences that come with such abilities. While his physical growth and powers are developing quickly, he is still a young child, and struggles to grasp the enormity of his role in the larger universe around him. Part of the issue is that and a misguided belief that villains must be stopped at any cost, which contributed to the gory way he killed the Maulers.
