Actress Genevieve Nnaji has generated buzz online after sharing photos of herself in a chic black dress to mark her 46th birthday.

Although her birthday was on Saturday, Genevieve posted images on Sunday, showcasing a sophisticated look in a one-sleeve black dress with a thigh-high slit.

She completed the outfit with minimal jewellery and a sharp pixie cut that highlighted her beauty.

Fans and fellow celebrities filled her comment section with warm wishes and admiration.

Actress Ini Edo wrote, “Happy birthday Queen” with a series of red hearts.

Stella Damasus added, “A queen now and always. Happy birthday no 1. God bless you.”

Actor Chinedu Ikedieze also celebrated her, writing, “Happy birthday Adanne” with party emojis, while Juliet Ibrahim kept it short and sweet, commenting, “Happy birthday Queen.”

Rechael Okonkwo wrote, “No 1” with heart emojis, while Oluchi said, “Yessssss…. HBD Adaaaa” with several celebratory icons.

Others who sent in birthday messages include Ekene Umenwa, Chidimma Aneke, Ken Erics, Susan Peters and Osas Ighodaro.

Chidimma Aneke wrote, “Happy Birthday Queen” followed by prayer and heart emojis, and

Susan Peters said, “Happy birthday sis” with a mix of party and heart-eyed emojis.

Ken Erics added, “Happy birthday Gorgeous.”

Osas Ighodaro commented, “Happiest Birthday beautiful Queen!”

Genevieve was also treated to a surprise birthday celebration by friends at what appeared to be a club.

For the occasion, she rocked a skimpy dress paired with black sunglasses, once again radiating effortless elegance.

In clips shared on her Instagram Story, the actress was seen being serenaded and presented with a birthday cake, before taking to the stage to flaunt her trim figure and energy — a moment that drew cheers from the crowd.

Genevieve’s birthday comes just weeks after she clapped back at a troll who attempted to age-shame her on Twitter.

“You can’t cheat nature,” the troll wrote, calling her a “once fine wine.”

Genevieve replied with grace, “It could get worse. I will get old and die someday, if I’m lucky.”
