India has exposed Pakistan's role in sponsoring cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and other regions of India during a statement at the United Nations Security Council. The statement was delivered by India’s envoy to the UN during the Security Council’s open debate on addressing emerging threats, ensuring the safety of civilians, humanitarian and UN personnel, journalists, media professionals, and strengthening accountability mechanisms.
