In-form Toulouse and Chongming clash at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Marseille 2025 | FIBA Basketball

MARSEILLE (France) - After a memorable stop in Amsterdam, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2025 moves quickly to Marseille on May 24-25 with 14 desperate teams gunning for glory.

Toulouse (FRA) stole the show in the Dutch capital after winning their first title with excitement machines Paul Djoko and Franck Seguela combining in a formidable one-two punch.

But the No.2 seed don't have much time to bask in glory having been drawn in a tough Pool B in Marseille, where they face confident Chongming (CHN) who reached the semis in Chengdu and then clinched the title at the Xi'an Challenger where MVP Cameron Forte played bully ball.

Shinagawa CITY EXE (JPN) won't be a third wheel because they have 3x3 record holder Ryo Ozawa, the dude who threw up 20 points in a single game!

Top seed Ub (SRB) are back but things have never looked shakier for 3x3's GOAT team. Ub were unable to reach the final in the first two stops in an uncharacteristically slow start for the Serbs.

They will face talented Lausanne (SUI), who are desperate to atone after a winless time in Amsterdam, while Skyliners (GER) loom as a dark-horse with highly-skilled Niklas Klopp ready to make the leap into stardom.

No.3 seed Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) didn't enjoy a home welcoming after a quarter-final exit left them annoyed on their half-court. But they can quickly make amends in Marseille although face a tough opener against legendary Liman (SRB), who came within an inch of a title at the WT Amsterdam.

The match-up between bucket getters Worthy de Jong and Nemanja Zigon will be epic!

Bordeaux (FRA) should get a lot of love from the fans and arrive with confidence after a runner-up finish at the Xi'an Challenger.

Pool D features a blockbuster between Utsunomiya Opener champs Miami (USA) and Vienna (AUT) in a rivalry that renews following an epic quarter-final victory by the Austrians in Amsterdam.

Speedy Nico Kaltenbrunner was the king of the half-court on that occasion after throwing up a near triple dub as he found top form to lead Vienna on a semi-final run.

The third team in Pool D will emerge from QD featuring Utrecht (NED), Doha (QAT) and Gargzdai (LTU)
