Hitron, Aprecomm partner to simplify broadband solutions with AI integration
The partnership embeds Aprecomm’s AI agent into Hitron’s lineup of WiFi 7 routers, gateways, and extenders, enabling automated troubleshooting and self-healing capabilities.

NEW DELHI: In a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing broadband network efficiency, Hitron Technologies Americas and Aprecomm have announced a partnership to integrate artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tools into Hitron’s customer premises equipment (CPE). The integration will allow broadband service providers (BSPs) to access Aprecomm’s cloud-based applications directly through Hitron’s devices, streamlining deployment and reducing operational time.
The partnership embeds Aprecomm’s AI agent into Hitron’s lineup of WiFi 7 routers, gateways, and extenders, enabling automated troubleshooting and self-healing capabilities. This allows providers to resolve common network issues without manual intervention, minimising service disruptions and reducing costs associated with on-site visits.
Aprecomm’s platform, which uses a patented quality-of-experience algorithm, has demonstrated significant operational improvements, including a 62% reduction in truck rolls and a 35% increase in first-call resolution rates, the telecom startup said citing field data.
“We’re excited to partner with Aprecomm to bring immediate value to our customers,” said Greg Fisher, President & CTO of Hitron Technologies Americas. “This collaboration ensures our devices deliver fast, AI-optimised connectivity, helping operators reduce costs and provide superior experiences without additional integration efforts.”
The partnership also aligns with industry standards like the TR-369 User Services Platform (USP), ensuring compatibility with existing network tools.
Pramod Gummaraj, Founder and CEO of Aprecomm said, “Broadband providers are looking to maximise AI's opportunity to automate support and provide better online experiences through self-optimising Wi-Fi.”
The integration is now available to residential and business providers across the Americas, marking a step toward intuitive, AI-powered networks.
