Hayley Williams Wears Slogan Tee, Red Knee-High Boots at Tribeca

Hayley Williams brought her signature blend of punk attitude and fashion fluency to the red carpet Thursday during the “Turnstile: Never Enough” premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

The Paramore lead singer opted for high-shine, knee-high red boots with a square toe and interior zippers — a glossy, structured pair that added definition to the look and recalled her recent rotation of bold, performance-ready footwear.

Up top, Williams styled a white slogan T as a dress, printed with the vintage Newport cigarette tagline “Alive with Pleasure” in green and red in waves across the front. A subtle rip at the thigh acted as an offbeat slit, while white fishnet tights grounded the look in her signature mix of innerwear and streetwear.

Her blond hair with exposed roots — a departure from the fiery reds and oranges popularized by her Good Dye Young hair care line — added fresh edge to the ensemble. She completed the look with a barely-there smoky eye and a pop of color with a muted red lip that complemented her boots.

The boots continued a signature styling formula she has refined over the past year. While opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour last year, she stepped out in R13 Stack platform boots at Wembley Stadium and later paired strappy, buckled heels with fishnet gloves at the High Snobiety x Marc Jacobs NYFW party last fall. At Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 show in Paris, she made a bold statement wearing floral-embellished briefs layered over nude tights, matched with pointed knee-high boots — a decisive evolution of her “innerwear as outerwear” aesthetic.

Later on Thursday, Williams joined Turnstile on stage during the band’s surprise Brooklyn set under the K Bridge, trading verses with frontman Brendan Yates on “Seein’ Stars.” The performance celebrated the release of Turnstile’s new album “Never Enough,” which dropped on Friday. The band opened with the title track and performed six songs in total, including “Birds,” “Dull” and “I Care.”

The 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, running through June 15, has centered music-heavy programming with premieres from artists including Billy Joel, Miley Cyrus, Turnstile and Depeche Mode — further blurring the line between musicians’ stagewear and red carpet fashion.
