GSMA MWC25 Doha to Drive Middle East Digital Transformation

Preparations are in full swing for the inaugural GSMA MWC25 Doha, scheduled to take place from November 25-26, 2025, at the prestigious Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). This significant event is a collaborative effort between the GSMA and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar. MWC25 Doha is designed to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators from around the world, marking a key moment for the renowned MWC series.
The announcement to host MWC in Doha aligns with Qatar's ambitions to develop its position as a global digital hub. His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed during his opening speech at Qatar Economic Forum 2025 that MWC25 will help strengthen Qatar's role in digital collaboration. He noted it will connect emerging technology ecosystems and promote the exchange of innovative technical solutions among international stakeholders. The Prime Minister also emphasized the strategic importance of hosting MWC in Doha over the next five years, signaling a long-term commitment to technological advancement.

The inaugural edition's conference will offer an inspirational thought leadership program. Furthermore, high-level summits will address critical topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), data infrastructure, 5G technology, cybersecurity, fintech, smart mobility, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
