Telekom Baskets Bonn (BBL) signed 30-year-old American 201cm forward Jeff Garrett (college: LSUS, agency: Players Group) for the upcoming season. He has played for the last two years at NINERS Chemnitz in the BBL. The team competed in three different competitions that year, giving him the opportunity to experience basketball at various levels. In 34 BBL games, he averaged 9.4ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.1apg, and 1.1spg last season. Additionally, he played 7 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 10.6ppg, 5.9rpg, and 1.0apg.
Garrett is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Finland (Nokia and Karhubasket), Lithuania (Jonava), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes), and Ukraine (Kyiv Basket).
In 2024, Garrett's team won the FIBA Europe Cup. He was voted the Eurobasket.com All-German League Forward of the Year in the same year.
He graduated from Louisiana State University at Shreveport in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Garrett played for other colleges like Northern Kentucky University and The University of Alabama.
