Dubai-headquartered , a German kitchen and innovation brand, is gearing up to expand its presence in India, seeing immense potential in the market. In an interview with ETRetail, Selvakumar Rajulu, managing director of Nolte FZE, shared the company’s strategic expansion and investment plans.

The company has shifted its focus to direct market engagement, establishing over 11 distributors across the country. By the end of 2025, it aims to increase its network to 25-30 distributors. To support this growth, Nolte has earmarked an initial investment of $2 million for brand development, store openings, and workforce training initiatives.

As part of its expansion, Nolte plans to open a flagship experience center in Mumbai in partnership with an Indian firm. "This center will not only showcase premium kitchen solutions but also serve as a training and development hub for Nolte’s Indian team," Rajulu said. Additionally, the company is targeting project-based B2B opportunities, collaborating with developers and architects to strengthen its foothold.

Recognizing the rise of e-commerce, Nolte is integrating online sales into its strategy. While its global e-commerce contribution is currently minimal, the company expects the channel to account for 10% of its turnover in India within the next 2-3 years.

Nolte’s product portfolio includes premium offerings such as Nolte Neo and its flagship Nolte Kitchen brand. To cater to price-sensitive consumers in tier-two and tier-three cities, the company is introducing Express Kitchen. In the coming years, Nolte plans to adopt partial or full local production in India, aiming to improve affordability and delivery efficiency.

Producing over 1,500 kitchens daily and operating in more than 60 countries, Nolte Kitchen is strengthening its Indian presence through multiple flagship stores and strategic channel partnerships.

Rajulu emphasized Nolte’s ambition to not only sell premium kitchens but also transform and streamline the modular kitchen market in India. By blending European quality with localized strategies, the brand aims to establish itself as a formidable competitor in the region.
