A major road was closed earlier due to a fire on a tanker carrying propane fuel.

Two fire crews were sent to the Flogas lorry on the A35 between Charmouth and Morcombelake, in Dorset, at about 07:30 BST.

On Facebook, Charmouth Fire Station posted: "Thankfully, it was just the brakes that had caught and the tank full of gas was not involved."

Firefighters extinguished the fire and cooled the vehicle down before escorting it off the A35 to await recovery.
