Caen Basket Calvados (ProB) signed 31-year old American 183cm point guard Siyani Chambers (college: Harvard) for the upcoming season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Bahamas Rashad Davis having signed earlier. Chambers was the assist leader at ADA Blois Basket 41. In 39 ProB games in France last season, he averaged 13.4ppg, 1.9rpg, 5.8apg, and 1.5spg. He helped his team finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league. Chambers had a very successful season, being voted to Eurobasket.com French ProB All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times), and Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Second Team. In the previous (2023-24) season, he played at Arconic-Alba Fehervar (A Division) in the Hungarian league, where he played 36 games and had impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 7.8apg, and 1.6spg. Chambers helped his team finish the regular season in second place and advance to the league semifinals
He is a very experienced player. Chambers has played professionally in Austria (Raiffeisen Flyers Wels), Bulgaria (Balkan), Germany (46ers), Holland (Den Bosch), Hungary (Kormend) and Sweden (Boras).
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Guard of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from Harvard University in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season in pro basketball.
