Forum Members Review the 'Tragic' Versace Fall 2025 Collection From Donatella Versace

Published 2 weeks ago2 minute read

Day four of Milan Fashion Week and tonight, the fashion pack flocked together to witness the Versace Fall 2025 collection. Rumors have been rampant within the industry that Donatella Versace is to exit her post as creative director of the label. Despite said rumors, the show must go on, and went on without a fuss within the Italian fashion capital. Staged within Milan’s historic Darsena tram depot, Donatella welcomed everyone from Ice Spice to Hyunjin to sit front row. Models (including Loli Bahia and Alex Consani) soon emerged from backstage, sporting a collection of duvet-like ball gowns, tailored blazers, satin bustiers, mirrored sequins, razor-sharp studs, rhinestone-embellished jeans, sculptural mini dresses, and sky-high stilettos.

“So tragic that they opened with a new face. I get the Richard Avedon campaign reference from the 90s, but the quilts look so dirty and beyond retro.” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]

“Awful! [BelkaniStaCouture]

“AWFUL… Where are the sexy models? Where are the sexy clothes?” [DK92]

“Waste of time. I don’t know how to explain it but it was Versace in a way – and mostly it wasn’t. Stopped watching after a few minutes. My time wasted.” [Mrs.T]

“Versace is dead.” [marsnoop2]

“The whole show seemed like a desperate attempt to follow trends. Honestly, there’s nothing much new here. Just more of the 2000s stuff that I see Gen-Z wearing. I don’t get the puffer business.” [Blaiseybabey]

“We are far from what Versace used to be.” [fashionlov]

“Messy. Tragic. Sad.” [justpassingthrough]
