Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix secures future

Formula 1 has extended its deal with the Miami Grand Prix through 2041, securing Miami's place on the F1 calendar for another 10 years. The Miami Grand Prix, which began in 2022, has quickly become a premier American event, hosted at the Hard Rock Stadium campus in Miami Gardens.

The race has attracted hundreds of thousands of fans and set U.S. TV viewership records, with 3.1 million viewers tuning in last year. Tom Garfinkel, managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix, emphasized the community support and local partnerships that have elevated the event. F1 President Stefano Domenicali praised Miami as one of the most spectacular races and a key part of the sport’s U.S. growth strategy.

With three annual races in the United States—Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas—the Miami Grand Prix is recognized for its showmanship and economic impact. Organizers report that the race has generated over $1 billion for the South Florida economy in its first three years, while also supporting local charities, small businesses, and internship programs. This long-term commitment highlights Formula 1’s expansion in the U.S., with Miami playing a central role.

The Miami Grand Prix also attracted numerous celebrities from the hip-hop world. Travis Scott visited the Miami International Autodrome at Hard Rock Stadium, interacting with the Oracle Red Bull Racing team and playing the new F1 '25 video game. Don Toliver, also at the Oracle Red Bull Racing garage, met up with Roddy Ricch. Toliver's appearance followed the release of his new song "Lose Your Mind" featuring Doja Cat, which is part of the official soundtrack for the upcoming F1 movie.

Sexyy Red debuted at F1 with DJ Tiësto, surprising attendees during Tiësto's closing performance after the final race. The two artists have collaborated on a song for the F1 soundtrack. Other notable attendees included DJ Khaled, Uncle Luke, Pitbull, J. Quiles, Timothée Chalamet, and Lisa of BLACKPINK. Pitbull performed at the Hard Rock Beach Club.
