Firefighters put out Dubuque County farm building fire

DUBUQUE CO., Iowa (KWQC) - Firefighters put out a farm building fire in Dubuque County Wednesday evening.

According to a media release, around 6:05 p.m., the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and the Farley, Epworth and Worthington fire departments went to the 7800 block of Comer Road for a structure fire.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.

The fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damages and does not appear to be suspicious.
