FIBA U16 Women's AmeriCup 2025 schedule released | FIBA Basketball

MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas, in collaboration with the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA), has unveiled the official schedule for the FIBA U16 Women’s AmeriCup, which will be held in the city of Irapuato, Mexico, from June 16 to 22. The tournament will feature a total of eight national teams, divided into two groups. Group A consists of Argentina, the United States, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, while Group B includes Canada, Colombia, Mexico, and Panama. The top four teams will qualify for the FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026. Here is the full schedule:

During the Group Phase, each team will play one game against every opponent in their group to determine the standings and matchups for the Quarterfinals (1st A vs. 4th B, 2nd A vs. 3rd B, 2nd B vs. 3rd A, and 1st B vs. 4th A). The four Quarterfinal winners will advance to the Semifinals, while the remaining teams will play for 5th to 8th place. The Semifinal winners will compete for the gold medal, and the losers will face off for the bronze.
