Speaking about his evolution from Dostana (2008) to Pathaan (2023), John emphasized that maintaining a fit body requires consistency. “The beauty is not what goes behind that body from Dostana in 2008 to Pathaan in 2023—that’s 15 years. I think what goes is the hard work between those two body types. You have to work hard every day on your dietary habits,” he said.

John, who has often spoken about his passion for fitness, believes in staying in peak shape at all times rather than transforming for specific roles. “You can’t transform every time; you have to be in a transformed state all the time. That’s what I try to do,” he added.

He also shared that his motivation to train goes beyond films. John said, “I understand transformations, but I’d like to be in a transformed state and stay super fit every second of the day. That hunger to train—I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t do it just for films. The hunger to go into the gym, train, just be fit exists every day of my life, and I love it.”
