DOlympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus (GBL) signed 27-year-old American (who also holds an Azerbaijani passport) 208cm center Donta Hall (college: Alabama) for the upcoming season. He last played at Baskonia in the Spanish Liga Endesa, where he averaged 7.3ppg, 5.3rpg, and 1.1bpg in 35 games last season. He was voted League Player of the Week during that time. In the Euroleague, he played 34 games and averaged 8.7ppg, 5.4rpg, and 1.1bpg. Hall spent the previous three seasons (2021-24) playing for Monaco (Betclic ELITE ProA) in the French league. He has been a regular member of the Azerbaijani Senior National Team since 2024.
He is a very experienced player. Hall has played professionally in France, NBA (Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic, and Toronto Raptors) and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold, Raptors 905 Mississauga, and G League Ignite).
Between many awards, his team made it to the French Cup Final Four in 2024. He was selected to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Rookie Team back in 2020.
Hall graduated from the University of Alabama in 2019, and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
