England Under-21s: Delap misses Euros to join up with Chelsea
New Chelsea striker Liam Delap has not been included in the England Under-21 squad for this summer’s European Championship in Slovakia.
Delap joined the Blues for £30m from Ipswich Town this week and will instead join Enzo Maresca’s side for the Club World Cup.
Chelsea play their first game in the newly-expanded tournament on 16 June against Los Angleles FC.
