EACC Advertises 19 Jobs for Clerks, Other Positions for Kenyan Job Seekers

Kenya's Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has advertised 19 job vacancies for graduates in diverse professional fields.

EACC asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their applications for the vacant positions by Tuesday, June 3.
The commission noted it is an equal opportunity employer, and as such, it reiterated that canvassing would lead to automatic disqualification.
"The commission invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions. Interested candidates should complete the EACC Form 1 online form and attach copies of ID, CV, academic/ professional certificates and testimonials," it stated.

Simon Ingari, a career development associate with OYK CV Writing & Interview Coaching Services, highlighted the dos and don'ts in interviews.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke Ingari advised candidates to research the organisation and understand its mission and vision before going to the interview.
"Before entering the interview room, review the company website to familiarise yourself with the latest news, company profile, goals, management team, objectives, vision, and mission," he advised.
He noted that job seekers should explain the motivation behind applying for the job.
"For example, you can say I am a quick learner and I am able to grasp new concepts quickly. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to be successful in this role, and I am eager to learn more about your organisation and how I can contribute to your team," he recommended.

In other news, the Kenya Revenue Authority asked professionals to apply for open assistant and managerial positions.
The taxman asked candidates to submit their professional and academic certificates by Monday, June 2.
KRA, which has over 8,000 employees nationwide, made it clear that it does not charge recruitment fees for applicants.
Among the vacancies are managers for domestic taxes and revenue assistance.
Elsewhere, Kenya Airways announced middle and managerial level vacancies for professionals.
The national carrier asked eligible and interested applicants to apply for the openings online.
