Kanpur: City people have been advised to remain alert as they may witness strong winds, thunderstorms, and dust storms in the next five days. Weather forecasts from Kanpur and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) indicate that due to light to moderate cloud cover between May 3 to 6, 2025, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain locally, along with strong winds, thunderstorms, and dust storms.
The district administration has also issued an advisory for citizens regarding precautions during storms or thunderstorms.
The temperature in the city rose to 37.4 degrees celsius, which is 1.6 degrees lower than the normal daytime temperature, as per S N Pandey, weather expert at CSA University.
