The gang was almost back together.
Drake & Josh stars Drake Bell and Josh Peck just reunited with TV parents Jonathan Goldstein, who played Josh's dad and Drake's stepdad, Walter Nichols, and Nancy Sullivan, who portrayed Drake's mom and Josh's stepmom, Audrey.
The four were part of a Sunday panel discussion about the Nickelodeon series, which aired from 2004 to 2007, at Nostalgia Con at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Bell and Peck, who have reunited previously, were excited to see their on-screen parents. Peck even shared a video of the actors in character. She mouthed the words, "Why are you still talking to my ex?" before the camera cut to Peck. He mouthed the reply, "He's my dad. You're literally still married," before Goldstein appeared by his side and told the camera, "I love you!"
Peck captioned it simply, "Walter and Audrey foreva."
In the show, the two main characters had to adapt to life in a blended family that included a brother who was much different than themselves. Their adventures often featured an appearance by their sister/stepsister Megan, who was played by Miranda Cosgrove, although she wasn't part of the panel.
Bell and Peck have kept in touch, although it hasn't always been an easy relationship. In June 2017, Bell said on social media that "ties are officially cut" after he wasn't invited to Peck's wedding. They later reconciled, however.
Bell revealed in March 2024 on the ID docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, that he had been sexually abused by a dialogue coach while working on the network's The Amanda Show, where both he and Peck appeared before they were given their own spinoff. Following the revelation, Peck was supportive of his former costar.
By March 2025, Bell said that seeing Peck being sober had been a "big inspiration" in his own recovery.

"I don’t want to sit here and [say], 'It's easy and you're not gonna fall and you're not gonna slide back.' It's a day-by-day thing," Bell said on Peck's Good Guys podcast. "But watching you has been inspiring because you really stick to your s---, you know what I mean? That takes a lot of will, because I've gone through a lot of similar things and I know it’s not f---ing easy."
Bell has also teased a reboot of their comedy more like Curb Your Enthusiasm.
