Right in the middle of Amagansett Square, Doubles does quick service, high-quality Caribbean food. Wake up with a breakfast roti filled with soft scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, melty cheese, and pepper sauce, or visit for lunch when curried potato, chicken, chickpea, and pumpkin come in a roti or over rice. The burger is also delicious, doused in special sauce, and we love the Freddie Bowl, which is loaded with rice and peas, stewed vegetables, chutney and a leafy salad with their housemade hot sauce. You can eat indoors or at shady picnic benches, and chase it all down with a spirulina blue smoothie or a can of beer. A second location in Sag Harbor is slated to open this summer.

Unrated: This is a restaurant we want to re-visit before rating, or it’s a coffee shop, bar, or dessert shop. We only rate spots where you can eat a full meal.
