Mass deportations of the millions of illegal aliens former President Biden allowed into the country are flowing at a brisk pace. The action was a pillar of President Trump's campaign, and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement recently said they are ramping up to arrest even more on a daily basis.
It was clearly stated in the November election that Americans have had enough of consequence free illegal immigration. These deportations put us on a path toward improving the everyday lives of Americans. Yet, at every turn, Democrats find a way to fight against it. Court injunctions, protests, anything to inexplicably keep illegal alien gang members in the country.
Somehow, even after a mandate from the people, they still cannot grasp that Americans are fed up. It is not just emotionally either. Economically, people are downtrodden and tired of the struggle. Believe it or not, illegal immigration impacts that.
Town Hall writer Scott Morefield says the mass influx of illegal aliens has hurt Americans in numerous ways.
"Your ability to buy a house, tax burden...the public schools can get worse. The local job market, it is harder to get a job," he says.
It also impacts access to emergency services, especially at hospitals, where most illegals get their care for free. As we know too well, it also impacts public safety. There have been multiple rapes and murders of American women around the country at the hands of criminal illegal gang members.
But for some reason, the Democrats are okay with that. Democrat Senators will hop on a plane to visit a deported El Salvadorian gang member who beat his wife. Yet, they won't get on a plane to visit people impacted by Hurricane Helene. The logic is backwards, befuddling, and self-preservation.
"Some of them just want to watch the world burn, and they know this is the way to do it," says Morefield. "They want the immigrants because they feel like the immigrants will vote for them."
Some immigration is always good, it is important to note. But not millions of illegal immigrants bombarding the streets. It needs to be done legally.
Morefield adds that is this mass deportation plan somehow fails; it could hurt Republicans in future elections.
But as of now, mass deportations are full steam ahead. If the Democrats do not get on board, then the Republican train might leave them further in the dust.
