Demalytics Records has announced the appointment of Azeez Fusigboye, widely known as Fusi Hype, as the newest Manager at the label.

With over seven years of experience in public relations, media strategy, and cultural promotion, Fusi Hype brings deep industry expertise and a fresh, forward-thinking perspective to the team.

It was gathered that the music and sports ambassador, Fusi Hype has played a pivotal role in the global rise of Afrobeats.

From promoting African talents across Nigeria and Canada to executing powerful PR campaigns, he is widely recognized as one of the most influential Afrobeats promoters in Canada.

Recall that Fusi past work includes collaborations with Kiza Entertainment and Tome, one of the most successful Afrobeats artists in Canada, whose efforts helped secure a Juno Award win in 2022.

He also founded the AfroGene Talent Show, now an annual celebration of African talent.

To his accolades, In just six months, two Nigerian artists—Burna Boy and Wizkid—sold out Scotiabank Arena, Canada’s busiest venue.

Behind this moment was Fusi’s strategy: merging music with Canada’s sports culture, even gifting signed Toronto Raptors jerseys to top artists, helping embed Afrobeats into Canadian mainstream culture.

His contributions were recently honored by the Mayor of Brampton, further validating his impact on the cultural landscape.

As Fusi Hype steps into his new role at Demalytics Records, the label moves into a new era — one driven by global ambition, cultural integrity, and a commitment to spotlighting African voices on the world stage.
