JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Like many other cities across Eastern N.C., Jacksonville was blanketed white with snow Tuesday and Wednesday, some people were out enjoying it.
Many chose to sled down the hills at Sturgeon City Park. Many of them said the snow was perfect for the sledding.
“Sledding and having snowball fights and making snow angels,” Sledders Emory, Lakely and Everleigh said. “And it hasn’t snowed in like 4 years, so it’s been fun.”
The sledders said it was a 10 out of 10 as far as snow days are concerned.
