Premier League clubs were all required to submit their lists of players who won't be added contract extensions at the end of their current deals on June 30, 2025.
The list will also make other interested clubs know whom to pursue.
The Blues are coming off the back of a relatively successful campaign, which saw them finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League after two seasons out in the cold. They got that on the last day after a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Nottingham Forest.
They followed that up a few days later by winning the UEFA Conference League after beating Real Betis in the final.
It was an ideal end to the season with the first signs of what Todd Boehly and the Clearlake consortium are trying to build coming to the fore. The current ownership has pumped billions into new player acquisitions, but before this season, there was nothing to show for it.
Chelsea's list of four doesn't include high-profile names, with goalkeeper Lucas Bergstrom headlining the list. The Finn has been at Chelsea for six years, where he was named on the bench a couple of times but never played a match.
Eddie Beach and Luke Campbell are the other goalkeepers whose contracts won't be renewed. The former joined from Southampton in 2022, while Campbell has featured regularly for the U-18s, as captured on the club's website.
Dylan Williams has also left the club, having sealed a move to Burton Albion last month.
Jadon Sancho has been sent back to Manchester United after the end of his loan deal at Stamford Bridge. Both parties were interested in making the deal permanent, but Sancho's wage demands were believed to be a stumbling block.
"Grateful for the experience. Big love to everyone at Chelsea who made me feel at home — teammates, staff and the fans. Wishing the club all the best moving forward. Truly grateful, Thank you, Blues," he said on social media.

Chelsea have already completed the signing of teenage defender Mamadou Sarr, who has been signed from sister club RC Strasbourg.
The deal comes hot on the heels of the first summer arrival of Liam Delap, whom Chelsea activated his release clause to break him free from Ipswich Town. Delap is expected to slot right into Enzo Maresca's side and give Nicolas Jackson competition.
The West Londoners are also actively pursuing a deal for goalkeeper Mike Maignan from AC Milan. The French number 1 has one year remaining on his deal at the San Siro, and he has already informed them of his desire to move to England.
Maignan is expected to solve Chelsea's problems between the sticks, with Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen making high-profile mistakes.
The deal is held up by the difference in valuation fee, with AC Milan holding out for a bigger offer from Chelsea.
The players are expected to resume training at their Cobham Ground on June 10, barely two weeks after breaking to begin preparations for the Club World Cup.
Maresca's side will fly to the United States this week ahead of their first game against Los Angeles on Monday.
Afterwards, they will play Flamengo on June 20 before wrapping up their group stage campaign against Tunisian side Esperance Tunis on June 25.
In a related report, Arsenal released 20 players at the end of he 2024/2025 season. The players are cumulative from the men's and women's teams, plus the youth teams.
In the men's team, Jorginho tops the list, with Raheem Sterling set to return to Chelsea at the end of his loan deal.
Thomas Partey's deal is also expiring this summer, but discussions are underway to renew it.
