Brave New World’s Harrison Ford, who portrays Thaddeus Ross (aka the red Hulk), has previously outpaced Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the list of highest-earning leading actors in nationwide box office history. After the release of this film, however, it appears as though Ford may soon pass up another iconic name in Hollywood: Johnny Depp. Regarding total revenue across their entire acting careers, Ford is $11 million behind Depp, with the two falling in 44th and 45th place. 

As audiences took to theaters to see Ford alongside Anthony Mackie making his debut as Captain America, total worldwide revenue for Brave New World reached $293 million, domestically making $145 million and internationally making $147 million. These numbers add to the overall total that the Captain America film franchise has received since 2011, which now places the entire series at a $2.5 billion mark globally.

The MCU franchise often passes the $1 billion mark after the first few weeks. While Julius Onah’s Brave New World has dominated the 2025 box office thus far, its fluctuating numbers sets little guarantee for the earnings it will see in these upcoming weeks.
