Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, representing Cross River Central, emphasised that the people of Central Cross River were pleased with Governor Otu’s performance and determined to ensure his return in 2027. “The outpouring of support today is not mere rhetoric; it reflects deep satisfaction with the Governor’s delivery of democratic dividends,” he declared.
Former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, predicted a political earthquake that would shake the status quo across the state until 2027, adding that Governor Otu deserves a second term based on equity and performance.
Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh, declared: “When Central speaks, the entire state listens. The message is clear: no vacancy in 2027. The reward for good governance is continuity.”
The endorsement was backed by various stakeholders, including the six local government chairmen from the district, the Central Commissioners’ Forum, and APC National Assembly members from the zone. APC State Chairman, Alphonsus Eba, praised the Central stakeholders for their unwavering commitment to party unity and development.
