Pasupuleti and a team of other students partnered with the Secret Garden Hotel and Restaurant in Siem Reap, a social enterprise that provides hospitality training and employment opportunities for young Cambodians through the Youth's Dream Fulfillment Association. The team offered strategic recommendations to increase revenue and expand impact, which included developing outreach databases, creating promotional content and researching funding opportunities.

“One of the most meaningful parts of our work was launching a fundraising campaign for the Program Advancing Girls' Education, which supports women's empowerment and access to education,” said Pasupuleti.

Students on the Fisher Global Consulting: Non-Profit, Cambodia program consult for a non-profit organization, solving real business problems on a team of undergraduate peers. The project allows participants to explore the world while gaining professional experience they can leverage for future internships and job opportunities.

“What truly made this experience memorable was the people. We were welcomed with such warmth, humility, and kindness by the Cambodian community. From visiting the Angkor temples to cooking traditional meals, teaching English alongside monks and hearing personal stories of resilience, I was deeply moved by the genuine compassion, hospitality and hard work of the people we met. Their dedication to their communities and to creating a better future through education and service taught me what it truly means to lead with heart and purpose.”

“Overall, this experience was important to me because it allowed me to combine my passion for community service with global business. Going abroad challenged me to become a more adaptable and empathetic leader and showed me how service transcends language and borders. This experience taught me to be a global citizen and the importance of socially responsible travelling and sustainable change,” said Pasupuleti.
