A new promotional website for reveals that the A24 horror movie takes place in the same shared universe as Talk to Me.

Bring Her Back is currently playing in United States theaters. The film is directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, with this movie serving as their follow-up to 2022’s Talk to Me. Bring Her Back stars Sally Hawkins as Laura, Billy Barratt as Andy, and Sora Wong as Piper.

A new website, blackangletapes.net, has been launched promoting Bring Her Back. The site features dozens of scary videos and haunted objects, one of which is notably the embalmed hand from Talk to Me. Given that other video footage seen on the website comes from Bring Her Back, this suggests that both movies take place in the same universe.

With a Talk to Me currently in the works, this means that it’s possible that the surviving characters from Bring Her Back could potentially show up in that movie, though that has not been confirmed at this time.

“A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother,” the official synopsis for the movie reads.

So far, Bring Her Back has grossed around $8.1 million at the global box office. It has received mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike.

Additionally, A24 has released a portion of the cantaloupe scene from Bring Her Back on X. While it omits the shockingly violent imagery that occurs at the end of the moment, the sound effects can still be heard, and viewer discretion may be advised. View it here (watch more trailers and clips):

Talk to Me, meanwhile, is currently available to stream on Netflix and Fubo. A release date for Talk to Me 2 has not been announced at this time.
