BNXT League - Marquise-Moore-claims-BNXT-League-weekly-honour
Experienced American Marquise Moore (188-G-1994) had a great game in the last round for Union Mons-Hainaut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 30-year old guard had the game-high 29 points adding four rebounds and two assists for Union Mons in his team's victory, helping them to crush Mechelen (#3, 23-8) with 20-point margin 81-61. Belfius Mons-Hainaut is placed at 8th position in BNXT-League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Union Mons will need more victories to improve their 18-14 record. In the team's last game Moore had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Belfius Mons-Hainaut' top player in his first season with the team. Marquise Moore averages this season 12.8ppg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Ja'Von Franklin (201-F/C-1998) of
Windrose Giants Antwerp. Franklin impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Antwerp Giants cruised to a 104-93 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Zwolle (#14, 12-20). Antwerp's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 20-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Franklin is a newcomer at Antwerp and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. The third best performed player last round was Czech Republic James Karnik (206-C-1998, agency: Players Group) of
Donar Groningen (#16). Karnik scored 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Groningen, leading his team to a 81-79 win against the higher-ranked ZZ Leiden (#10, 17-14). The chances of Groningen not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 21 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Karnik could try to bring Groningen's a little bit higher in the standings. Karnik has individually a great season in BNXT-League. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.0bpg and a FGP of 59.6%.Other top performing players last week:

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
