Big 12 Women's Basketball Program Lands Former Five-Star Recruit From In-Conference
For the first time ever, Iowa State women’s basketball will have two McDonald’s All-Americans on the same team.
On Wednesday morning, Iowa State learned that Arizona guard and former five-star prospect Jada Brown will play for the Cyclones in 2025-26.

Williams was a hot commodity in the portal, too, as the Cyclones had to beat out programs like Iowa, Baylor, and TCU to land her services.
A member of the 2023 recruiting class, Williams was the No. 21 overall prospect out of La Jolla Country Day High School and averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game at Arizona this past season.
Williams started all 30 games for the Wildcats this season and averaged 30.5 minutes per contest.
With Addy Brown and Audi Crooks both set to return in 2025, and now the addition of Williams, it appears the Cyclones are setting up to make a run at a Big 12 Championship after winning the tournament in 2022-23.
